ONIX Reference 2 tower and 100 center all new networks now available!

Two new speakers have joined the Skiing Ninja team - the ONIX Reference 2 tower and Reference 100 center speaker. Both have received the full treatment with all new network designs and cabinet upgrades.

The Reference 100 boasts a huge upgrade in dialogue intelligibility. All those years of people saying the RSC200 'bigfoot' is better are over.

The Ref 2's transparency and resolving capabilities have increased substantially too.

Be sure to check out the measurements on the respective product pages to see all the changes and what they mean to your listening experience.

All the info on the ONIX Reference 2 and Reference 100 upgrades can be found in the preceding links.

Also, we can provide brand new speakers with upgrades installed (all Reference models in several finishes). Drop us a note with your interest and we will send back an all-inclusive quote.

Questions? Please don't hesitate to ask!

  2. It's not a big deal, but the link to this thread on the News page has the incorrect URL.

Also, the frequency response graphs on the Ref100 page are all entitled "Ref 3xxx.jpg". Are these mislabeled, are they actually the Ref 3 graphs?

    Kevin,

I believe they are the Ref3 as the technical discussion of that section was about main speakers, not the 100 center.

    Ref 3 NMSC, Ref 100 NMSC, Ref 1 NMSC, Ref 3, SVS Ultra 13, Arcam AV9, Parasound JC-1s (1600 watts), Wyred amp, Esoteric SA60, Sony S5000ES, Sony 60" GV II, D* HR20

  4. Thanks, Jack. I had just checked the Ref 3 page and found that they were the same. It looks like the Ref 2 got new frequency measurements, so hopefully we'll see something for the Ref100.

The Ref 2 and Ref 100 are the same as they use the same networks and drivers. The FR and all other measurements are the same for the two speakers.

Jack, I've reported the original thread at TCA to be deleted twice but it is still there. Any idea how to get it deleted?

No Sean. I tried to get a recent thread over there deleted and it didn't happen either. Unless you got some info that they won't delete without all parties concerned agreeing to it, the best I can do is delete all my posts. I'll do that, but you'll have to get others to do the same.

On edit - All of my posts in thread have been deleted. Now you just need to get all other contributors to do the same.

I can't have my own thread deleted? Wow, no idea. You even agreed that it should be deleted.
